Our Practices
International and National Arbitration
International and National Arbitration is a widely preferred and effective alternative dispute resolution method for resolving commercial disputes. The parties come together to present their evidence before an independent arbitrator or a panel of arbitrators, resolving their disputes outside of court. This method offers a reliable solution in commercial relationships due to its fast decision-making process and binding outcomes. Furthermore, international arbitration plays an effective role in resolving cross-border disputes between countries, while national arbitration is typically used for resolving domestic commercial disputes and is conducted in accordance with local laws. These methods contribute to the creation of an efficient trade environment by avoiding complex legal processes and fostering cooperation and reconciliation between the parties.

Our arbitration team represents both domestic and foreign clients in numerous cases conducted before national and international arbitration institutions. Our team is experienced in resolving disputes in a wide range of sectors, including energy, mining, manufacturing, transportation, telecommunications, construction, finance, manufacturing, and sports. We represent our clients in commercial and investment arbitration cases involving billion-dollar disputes arising in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East, as well as in the recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions and arbitration awards in Turkey.
Our team has experience in handling cases before international and national arbitration institutions (such as ICC, UNCITRAL, SRIA, TRAC, CAS, Swiss Arbitration Rules, ISTAC, ITOTAM) and serves as the chief arbitrator, sole arbitrator, and party arbitrator in both commercial and state-investor arbitration cases. We approach every case and task with the same meticulous care, aiming to provide a service that combines our experience, legal knowledge, and risk management skills. We assist our clients in managing the risks associated with their international operations and investments. To do so, we draft dispute resolution agreements and carry out the necessary procedures to maximize the benefits of existing protection mechanisms under international trade and investment agreements. We particularly plan and manage potential disputes in project finance and energy transactions, joint ventures, technology transfers, and corporate finance. Our team also assists our clients in regular cases and appeals at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) based in Lausanne.
