Note Code 29 was abolished in 2021. Codes 42-50 are now used depending on the type of violation.
Legal Basis for Codes 42-50
Among the exit codes are codes 42 to 50, Article 25, paragraph II of the Labor Law No. 4857 arranged.
Here, the employee’s behaviors contrary to the rules of morality and good faith are defined in detail.
For example:
- Code 42: Employee misleading the employer
- Code 45: Coming to work drunk or under the influence of drugs
- Code 46: Theft or breach of trust
These codes do not entitle the worker to severance pay and unemployment benefits.
